Microsoft is revamping Windows. It’s newest armored ship of the Windows operating system launches on water tomorrow. 29 July is marked on many calendars across the globe. Given that it’s the first time Microsoft is making a major release a free upgrade, it’s quite interesting! There’s a catch though. All genuine captains of Windows 7 and Windows 8.1 ships are eligible for the free upgrade for up to a year.
Eligibility check
According to Microsoft, the Windows 10 navy system will be available as a free upgrade for qualified ships running Windows 7 and Windows 8.1. Yes, for free!
You may be desperate to claim something that is available for ‘free’ on the first day itself. And you need to decide whether or not you want to. The launch day is tomorrow. But you might just want to wait it out.
Before you decide to go in stranger tides it’s important to understand the real deal behind Windows 10 treasure island.

If you decide to not wait it out and opt-in for the upgrade, you will need to ensure that you run the latest update of the operating system. If you run Windows 7, then you should have installed SP1. If you haven’t, you can download it here. Similarly, if you are on Windows 8 ship, then the Windows 8.1 update is a must to be eligible for the upgrade to Windows 10 navy.
The minimum hardware specifications to run in Windows 10 navy are as follows:
Rudder: 1 Gigahertz (GHz) or faster processor or SoC
RAM Cannons: 1 Gigabyte (GB) for 32-bit or 2 GB for 64-bit
Hold space: 16 GB for 32-bit OS or 20 GB for 64-bit OS

Points worth pondering over
Several pirate parrots are complaining about device drivers not functioning properly. Given that Windows 10 is a completely new product, there would be instances of compatibility errors with your existing software suites. If any of these are commercial licences such as the Adobe Creative Suite, Tally, CAD or any specialised software suite which you are heavily dependent on for work, you might want to wait it out before you upgrade.
Also, ship captains with Nvidia graphic cards have shared updates about how devices drivers seem to be buggy with Windows 10. It’s advisable to wait it out before the usual bugs are ironed out in updates.

NASA’s New Horizons Spacecraft becomes the first probe to make a close encounter with Frozen Pluto
NASA’s Pluto-bound New Horizons spacecraft has traversed the orbit of Neptune. This is its last major crossing en route to becoming the first probe to make a close encounter with distant Pluto on July 14, 2015.
The sophisticated piano-sized spacecraft, which launched in January 2006, reached Neptune’s orbit -- nearly 2.75 billion miles from Earth -- in a record eight years and eight months. New Horizons’ milestone matches precisely the 25th anniversary of the historic encounter of NASA’s Voyager 2 spacecraft with Neptune on Aug. 25, 1989.
New Horizons now is about 2.48 billion miles from Neptune -- nearly 27 times the distance between the Earth and our sun -- as it crosses the giant planet’s orbit at 10:04 p.m. EDT Monday. Although the spacecraft will be much farther from the planet than Voyager 2’s closest approach, New Horizons' telescopic camera was able to obtain several long-distance “approach” shots of Neptune on July 10.

New Era in the UFC octagon: Reebok's outfitting policy is in control
On Wednesday, the UFC officially released the figures that will be attached to the sponsored payouts athletes will receive under the new outfitting policy with Reebok that starts with UFC 189 on July 11.
The deal signed in late 2014 will see Reebok as the titled sponsor for the uniforms worn by fighters during fight week, as well as in the Octagon.
The new outfitting policy effectively eliminates fighters from wearing any other sponsored clothing or patches on their shorts or shirts with Reebok now taking center stage for all future UFC events for at least the next five and a half years.
While the original announcement was made that the fighters would be paid based on rankings, the UFC has changed that structure and will now pay the athletes based on tenure with the company.
The new pay structure is as follows (numbers are based on the athlete's status going into the fight with payouts made approximately 10 days after the bout)
Champions will be paid $40,000 per bout
Title contenders will be paid $30,000 per bout
Fighters with 21 bouts or more will be paid $20,000 per bout
Fighters with 16-20 bouts will be paid $15,000 per bout
Fighters with 11-15 bouts will be paid $10,000 per bout
Fighters with 6-10 bouts will be paid $5,000 per bout
Fighters with 1-5 bouts will be paid $2,500 per bout.
The payouts will be determined by a fighters total amount of fights in the UFC (Zuffa owned and pre-Zuffa era as well) and fights held in Strikeforce and the WEC that took place during the Zuffa era (Zuffa purchased Strikeforce in 2011, purchased the WEC in 2006).
So for instance Conor McGregor currently has five fights in the UFC. For his upcoming bout against Jose Aldo he will be paid $30,000 as a title challenger. If he loses, McGregor would go back to his standard pay after six fights in the UFC, which would put him at $5,000.
Fighters like McGregor,Joanna Jedrzejczyk, Ronda Rousey, Chris Weidman are able to have additional sponsorship deals with Reebok, which could obviously yield them additional money per fight or per year depending on the terms of their individual endorsement with the company.
UFC owner Lorenzo Fertitta confirmed on Wednesday in a conference call with FOX Sports that fighters are allowed to have apparel and non-apparel sponsors outside of fight week.
